SYLVIA Rosiana - founder and president

Sylvia was a successful Realtor with Remax Garden City in the Niagara Region since 2004.
She is a Mother of two beautiful daughters Kaitlyn and Siobhan.
Sylvia is moved with compassion, she loves deeply & her heart breaks for the broken of this world. She loves working at street level to help victims of sex trafficking, homelessness, drug addiction, mental health & hopelessness.
Sylvia had a dream of a Dream Centre in Niagara after serving at a downtown outreach (not knowing what a Dream Centre was)
Her oldest daughter served at the LA Dream Centre with her youth group in 2012 & was so impacted that she went on to serve for 6 months at a YWAM program after graduating Grade 12
Sylvia believes a Dream Centre is the answer to restoring lives with the love of God.
Jesus became the Love of her Life in 2010 during a series of traumatic & heartbreaking events.
The struggles have made her who she is today & God has given her an amazing testimony to share & encourage others
Along with several friends they started "The One Lost Sheep" Ministry in 2016 walking the streets, handing out bags of hope & sharing the love of Jesus
Sylvia is also on the Board of Directors for the Niagara Dream Centre (established in Mar '17) as well as serving weekly at an "Adopt a Block program which started in May '17
Sylvia has a passion for animals & loves walking/hiking with her husband Joe.
Deep conversations about God & Beechwood doughnuts are the keys to her heart

After witnessing an amazing transformation of his father through his faith in Jesus, Joe was radically saved in 1985 at the age of 19. Within a year of his own conversion Joe began a musical dual with a friend he met at the church they attended.They started writing and composing contemporary Christian music which eventually led to a modestly successful music ministry known as David and Joseph. Soon opportunities arose leading them to church functions, outreach concerts, street evangelism, prison ministry, TV appearances and after completing their album entitled, David and Joseph “ Christians in Action”, they had some of their music played on a local radio station here in Ontario for a short time.

During this season Joe was married with a family. He served as a Deacon, taught Junior High Boys Sunday School classes at his local church, sang and played the drums on the worship team as well as led the youth ministry there for 2 years. He was also successful in the food industry and made his way up to management which he still enjoys success in to this day.

In an unfortunate twist of fate, after 10 years in ministry and serving in his church, Joe experienced what can only be described as a time of discouragement which led him and his family to leave the church. Joe fell into a prodigal state and during this time of almost 15 years, the ministry ended, his marriage dissolved and Joe began a downward spiral of addictions and brokenness that brought him to a place of complete despair.

By God’s marvelous Grace, Joe was reawakened, set free and in time was restored to his previous state of radically saved faith in Jesus! God, in His providence, led Joe to a local church in St. Catharines where he met, fell in love with and eventually married his beautiful wife Sylvia. Together they run the Niagara Dream Centre out of St Catharines and look forward to the roadahead as God leads them through life’s journey.

Joe is also an accomplished artist in his spare time and enjoys running a side business called “ Caricaturesetc” that offers services in fine arts for businesses, organizations and private funtions who require his skills in caricature art, mural painting and other art related needs.

Between Joe’s career in the service oriented food industry, a passion to serve his Lord and Savior, his love for people and hisdesire to see God’s Kingdom grow , Joe is a natural fit for the Niagara Dream Centre and its vision to “ Find a need and Fill it, Find a hurt and Heal it.” His testimony is a powerful witness of God’s amazing ability to heal, restore and enable those who turn their hearts and lives to Him.
